About Me

 

I am an Associate Professor in the Mathematics, Computer Science and Statistics department at Gustavus Adolphus College in St Peter, MN. I received a Masters of Science degree in Mathematics in 2007 and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Computer Science in 2012, both at the University of Iowa.

Interests:

My research interests are in the area of Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Assistive Technologies and Game Design. My teaching interests include mathematics for computer science, programming language foundations, algorithms, computer ethics, game design and human computer interaction.

Hobbies:

I enjoy outdoor sports such as rock climbing and cross-country skiing. But my true passion is soccer. I have been playing since childhood and I have played in many teams ever since. I am an avid ASRoma fan. My other passion is playing games, including board games and video games, especially role-playing games.
